Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

As you may have guessed from the title of this post (or seen on the weather), we had a nice snow here in Memphis. The flakes began falling Friday early afternoon and continued into the late evening. It was amazing to see the snow fall so steadily and for so long. When Daniel arrived home from work, we took Annabelle and Dugg outside. Dugg has experienced a good snow at least once before, and he LOVES to run around in it. Annabelle was very interested in it but aware of how cold and wet it was on her face. Saturday morning, we awoke to a thick blanket of snow all over the yard. We had seven inches on top of our grill but not quite that much on the ground. We took Dugg and Belle out again to play--only this time Daniel made Belle some "snow boots" out of grocery bags wrapped around her shoes and ankles. She loved walking around and had a great time until she fell in it and was a bit overwhelmed.
Snow is such a beautiful sight to see, and there is something so cozy about watching it fall. The sight of it melting and creating a muddy slosh in our backyard is not quite so lovely, but it was wonderful while it lasted.
Pictures will come soon: I am having trouble loading them.
