A Good Place to Start

I don't intend for this blog to be all about our daughter, but it is a good place to start. Today Annabelle is 5 months old, which means that she is reaching for things, rolling over, laughing, and developing quite a fondness for Mommy. These are all things that did not mean too much to me 5 months ago. Reaching for things? Big whoop. Rolling over? Been there, done that.
But after watching this little one grow from 4 lbs to now 11 lbs, you could say my perspective has changed. What used to be a tiny girl who was completely dependent on others is now...well, still completely dependent. But she's interacting with the world, and that's been fun for us to see.
Can't wait to see what she accomplishes in the upcoming months. Sitting up? Cheerios? Whoa.
